Where should I shoot? Do you have any ideas?
I work with a few wonderful spaces across the GTA that I am happy to introduce you to. I also am constantly on the hunt for new spaces - once we’ve established your vision, I will be able to support you in finding the right setting for your story.
Should I get a hair and makeup stylist?
If you do not feel confident doing your own hair and makeup, this is always an option and I am happy to recommend local artists who can help. However, your natural self is your most beautiful self. I will show you from the other side of my lens.
How should I style my clothing?
It’s important to consider clothing well in advance to your shoot (which we can establish during our visioning session) so that colors/tones can be aligned with your backdrops for the day.
For branding, I recommend you ask yourself what clothing you feel the most authentic in and compare with your competitors to see how you can position yourself to stand out.
What should I expect the day of the shoot?
The day before the shoot, we’ll connect for a quick call to ensure you feel confident and supported in assembling everything you’ll need for the day of. On the day of, we’ll meet at the chosen venue (if multiple locations are part of the shoot, I will share the schedule of locations beforehand). Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. If you are having hair or make-up done, please complete your services before our planned shoot time. Alternatively, you can rent the venue for an additional 30 - 60 minutes before our schedule shoot to complete hair or make-up onsite.
When will I receive my proof?
I will share your proof within 48 hours. From there, you will have 10 business days to make your selection. The 14 business day editing window opens after your selections are made.
